SciVance Technologies is a small software company near Berlin, run by an engineer and a scientist. We have built software and sold it worldwide since 2008, without an advertising budget.

We are good at building products. We are not good at marketing them. So we are looking for people who are.

Who we are looking for

A marketing partner – one person or a small team – who knows how to bring a product to its users:

  • social media and content marketing
  • paid ads (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • app store optimization
  • launch strategy, community building, partnerships and distribution

You can join us for one product or for several. We are open on the terms: a co-founder share, a revenue share, or another model. Let’s talk.

Existing products

LernAmiko – an AI study coach that works on your own textbook (our main focus)

Take a photo of a chapter from your textbook. LernAmiko writes questions about it (diagrams included), grades your answers with feedback, and plans when you review each topic again (spaced repetition). You learn exactly the material your exam is about.

  • For: adults who must pass an exam from a textbook – university students, people in vocational training (Ausbildung, IHK exams), professionals studying for a certification. Later: schools in Germany and the UK.
  • Status: working app on Android and Windows. The public beta comes next.
  • Price: EUR 9.99 a month (planned).

Autopilot for Delphi – lets an AI assistant test your program

AI assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor can already write and compile code. Autopilot gives them hands: the AI clicks, types, reads and takes screenshots of the running program, then fixes what it found – with no human at the keyboard. It works with Delphi programs on Windows and Android.

  • For: Delphi developers and software companies worldwide.
  • Status: feature-complete, in public pre-release. Free for private use, USD 25 per developer for companies.

Proteus – a license system and license server for software makers

Proteus turns a trial version into a paid one: the customer tries the program, buys it, and the license server sends the key. The license library has protected our own products for years. The new license server (HTTPS and a database) is finished and tested.

  • For: small software companies that sell desktop and mobile programs and do not want to build their own licensing.

DNA Baser – a DNA sequence assembler that needs a new life

DNA Baser has been used by the FDA, the US Army and Harvard, and it is cited in thousands of scientific articles and books. It works with Sanger sequencing, an older technology that newer methods have replaced in most labs. DNA Baser still has a loyal user base, but it needs to be brought up to date. We have a plan for this. We need a partner who knows the life-science market.

BioniX Wallpaper

A wallpaper manager for Windows. It was also released with zero marketing budget. In the good times it had over 1000 downloads per day. Since 2020 the product was abandoned and the traffic fell down to only ~400 unique visitors per day. The product was brought up to date but we need to ramp up the traffic.
